Lunchtime Superviser Required

as soon as possible

We are seeking a hard working, highly motivated, positive lunchtime supervisor. The successful candidate should:

• Be able to work as part of a team, communicate positively with children and other adults
• Enjoy working with children and small teams of adults
• Be a good timekeeper
• Support children while they eat their lunch and promote healthy eating
• Be reliable and consistent in promoting good behaviour and the values of the school
• Ensure the safety and welfare of children at all times

The hours will be Monday to Friday, 11.45am – 1.05pm during the term-time only until 31 August 2023 to start as soon as possible.

Duties will include

• Supervising children eating and when playing outside on the playground, play areas and field or inside during wet weather.
• Supporting children with eating appropriately, ensuring drinks are provided, cleaning tables and plates and helping with the social skills of sharing lunchtime with peers.
• Supervising and engaging with children on the playground. Encouraging positive play and listening to children or in the classroom if the weather is wet.
• Administering simple first aid (training will be given to the right applicant)
• Being aware of health and safety to ensure a safe environment for all
