I gained my degree in Popular Music at Liverpool University in 2004 and went on to work in the music industry for several years, before deciding to go into teaching. During my postgraduate certificate in education I specialised in Primary Languages, and spent a month teaching in France, which was a valuable insight into the education system in another country. Once qualified as a teacher, I continued studying part-time for a Masters in Teaching and Learning, graduating in 2012. In 2014 my husband and I relocated to Oxfordshire.
In the classroom I’m always looking for fun and creative ways to deliver the curriculum. My favourite subjects to teach are maths, Design Technology, languages and, of course, music.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending lots of time being active with my two young children. In the rare event of some time to myself, I love crochet, Pilates and playing the bass guitar.
