I joined Kingham Primary School in September 2018 as Reception teacher. I love working in Early Years, supporting the children to become confident, enthusiastic learners by encouraging learning and development through play and exploration. I studied English and Drama at university before pursuing a career in the media, working for The Times newspaper and the BBC. I re-trained as a teacher in 2013 after having a family, undertaking a PGCE at the University of Gloucestershire. I am also a trained Forest School Leader and I am especially keen to promote outdoor learning, taking advantage of our school’s wonderful setting.
